Question
I have no idea how much food to give my great danes.  I am giving them one cup in the a.m. and one cup for supper.  They are thin and showing their ribs.  I have read allot about raw meat diet and other dry food diets but can't find anything that tells me "HOW MUCH" food to give.  Please help

Answer
If he is thin give him more food!  Like humans appetites and digestive systems vary.

Do not use the most expensive foods as the price reflects the cost of advertising on TV.  Also try to avoid imported foods as they contain preservatives to prolong the shelf life.  Go for a locally produced food for preference.

Dry food alone is not enough, use a low protein, high carbohydrate complete food wetted and mixed with meat; either minced tripe, minced breast of lamb or minced beef brisket.
