Question
My great dane is in heat, this is the 2 time she is in heat and she is dripping blood like crazy. We want her too have 1 liter of puppies to experience motherhood before we get her fixed, the problem is we took her to 2 other different danes and she does no let her self, she lets her self get smelled at but when the dog tries to get on she attacks him why does she do that with both the dogs.

Answer
There is absolutely NO reason why you should let her have one litter of puppies...none at all...please get your dog spayed. There are 6 million dogs that get put to sleep in shelters every year.

If you do not health test, show your dogs in sanctioned shows then there is no reason to breed her. How do you know that your dog even conforms to the standard? By breeding a litter do you hope to add something valuable to the Great Dane breeding program?

Your Great Dane does not need to experience motherhood, she needs to be able to live a full life. Breeding is VERY dangerous, and she could die due to complications, especially how many this breed is prone to.

The best decision you can make is to have her spayed. If she is attacking other dogs it means that she does not want to be bred, which is probably a sign that she will also not be a good mother.
