skin pustules

Question
My 1 yr old blue female has had pimples on her muzzle and now it's spreading to her legs. I have seen our vet and she claims it's a skin bacteria and has prescribed a medicated shampoo and directions to monitor the condition. Is this something common to the breed as I previously had a marlequin who had a similar issue? If you have any insite please share. Thank you.

What's a marlequin?  Is it one of those made up names breeders use so that they can charge extra?

Acne is common in all breeds but is more easily seen on short-coated breeds.  It can often be cleared up using a product like Clearasil, just as you would teenage acne.
