How much of What brand shoud I feed my 10 month old Great Dane?

I have 10 month old Great Dane. I live in a smaller town, we have a Petsmart, Walmart (which I nerver go to) and Albertson (also not where I shop for my dog). What brand that is not $50 a bag should I feed him and how much should I feed him in the am and pm?

If you look at my previous posts you will get all the information you need pertaining to nutrition. Great Danes are a delicate breed, and unfortunately they will not be healthy if you feed them Beneful, Purina or Pedigree.

If you shop at Petsmart you have a few choices:

Nutro Natural Choice Large Breed Adult
Nutro Ultra Adult food For Dogs
Blue Buffalo Large Breed Chicken and Brown Rice
Blue Buffalo Longevity for Large Adult Dogs
Wellness Large Breed Adult

The lower end will be:
Pro Plan Shredded Blend Adult Large Breed Formula

Some of these foods will be $50 a bag BUT the higher quality food you feed, the less you will have to feed per meal because the dogs is actually breaking down all of the nutrients that they need.

You really do not want a food that has any sort of BY-Product is the "protein/meat source" and you don't really want corn, or corn meal.
