Is my great dane puppy sick?

20 9:01:41

Question
HI, I have an 11 week old black great dane puppy.  I bought her 3 weeks ago
and up until about 5 days ago she was really good and had good poops.  For
the last three nights shes been getting up 5 or 6 times a night and pooping-
a lot- and it is not good.  As of now I'm feeding her Nutro Large Breed Puppy
food and am thinking of changing it and maybe adding a little rice and meat.
Do you think its the food or are there other possibilities?  She seems fine, no
other symptoms.  My vet wont talk to me about what it may be.

Answer
1 Change your vet, he should give you advice when asked.

2 Feed a low (18-20%) protein food mixed with raw tripe or minced beef or lamb, three times a day.

3 Give two milk meals using goats milk or lamb's or cow's milk replacer made quite thick and creamy, obtainable from farm suppliers.  One with eggs added, one with Weetabix, Readybrek or porridge.
