3year old Great Dane

Hi,  I have a 3yr old great dane, female.  about 2 weeks ago she stopped eating her food, we have tried everything to get her to eat but she just isn't interested, she will have her daily small bone dog treat, but nothing else,  we have put tuna etc in her dried meat but she still won't eat it.  Is this normal for great danes? she still runs about fine & loves her walks to the park.

Have you taken her to the vet to eliminate a possible blockage? I would also suggest that you get a blood panel done. Is she still drinking water normally?  You want to go to the vet an eliminate any sort of medical problem. Is she still going to the bathroom normally? Or has there been an increase or a decrease? What kind of food is she currently eating? Is there a possibility that the food she is eating may have had a recall? Sometimes dogs can sense when their food is contaminated and they will not eat it, no matter what you add on top of the food. Take a look at these things to start.
