rolling eye lids

Hi,

My friend has recently bought a puppy Great Dane and he is gorgeous.  

They took him to the vets to get his injections done and they enquired about his eyes as they were weeping.  The vet advised that he had rolling eyelids (not sure whether it was inwards or outwards).  

the vet told them that the puppy would need an operation to rectify.  

I need a vet that specializes in Great Danes local to Heathrow??

Any ideas??

If the vet really said that, change your vet.  The problem sounds like entropian where the eyelid is turned in and the eyelashes rub on the eyeball.  He does need an operation to correct it or he will go blind.  It is only a minor op but needs doing properly.
