VON EZRA line & Fawn coloring

Question
The breeder of one of the puppies that I am considering states that "The puppies come from champion blood lines, and out are of the VON EZRA line."  What exactly does this mean?

Also, how much, if any difference does the coloring of the Sire and Dam have in determining the coloring of the offspring.  In particular, one of the puppies I am considering has a fawn Sire and fawn dam where as another puupy that I am considering has a brindle sire and fawn dam.  Both are fawn male puppies with the one having the brindle sire a little bit dirtier (neck, chest, and back) at 5 weeks.  Will this coloring remain or will both lighten to have the same light golden coat throughout?  I understand that you cannot predict the future, but appreciate and respect or expert opinion.  Thank you for your time and help.

Kind regards,
Stephen Checho

Answer
Don't know the 'VON EZRA' line but some people blow up the importance of their breeding beyond reason.

I give talks on the genetics of colour breeding which takes most of a day.  If you have fawn puppies they will only carry the fawn gene.

Sire BrBr, Dam FF puppies all BrF and will be brindle

Sire BrF, Dam FF puppies will be 50% BrF and will be brindle, 50% FF and puppies will be fawn.
