hip problems?

Hello, Ken.  I recently got a 13 week old GD from a friend who had taken him in.  When he runs, he looks like a bunny hopping.  He moves both hind legs at the same time.  Does this mean that he has bad hips, or is he still not yet used to his long legs?  Thanks in advance.

Could be either, if he's not worried then you shouldn't either.  It should clear up as he grows up.

If you ask the vet they will knock him out and x-ray the hips and charge a fortune.  There is nothing to be done if it is Hip Displacia, just don't breed from him.

Get a dane book from the library.
