Great Dane puppy food intake amount.

I am the proud owner of a Great Dane puppy.  He is currently 10 weeks old.  The Wysong dog food we are feeding him is made especially for large breed growing puppies.  The food specifications on the food bag tell us to feed the dog 3 cups daily.  He appears to be getting a little skinny.  Should we increase his food intake to 4 cups daily despite what the feeding recommendations on the bag say?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some indication of your whereabouts would help.  The internet is worldwide.  I've never heard of Wysong in the UK.

What do you feed with it?

How big is a cup?

If the dog is getting skinny give him extra, in an extra meal.  If the food is dry make sure you soak it first.  Try adding some meat to it like minced tripe or get your butcher to bone out a brisket and mince it for you and give that.  The fat in it should help put weight on.
