adolescent hair color change?

Good Day,  I have a 11 month old fawn dane, with black mask. My question is, is
it normal for her hair to be darkening on her shoulders and back? It was a very
orange fawn color, but is slowly turning a more light brown. it is making her
look a little splotchy, is this normal. There is no hair loss, and she has always
had a solid color.

Keep grooming her, the colour change is due to dead hair.  She is losing her puppy coat and getting her adult one.  We give them a good shampoo, using a baby shampoo and a brisk rub with rough towels.  The dead hair will come out completely in a month or so.
