Hi Ken,I have a ten month old great dane who up until recently was great on the lead and came to me when i asked however shes started to pull when on the lead and when shes off the lead she will come eventually when i call her but only in her own time. Like i said this has only started to happen recently, she doesnt respond readily when asked. Please could you give me some pointers on how to re train her and what is the right type of discipline to use when she is ignoring us. Thanks for your time hope you can help.

Don't let her off the lead, if necessary get an extending lead.  Then when you call her back you can enforce the command by pulling her in.  When she comes back immediately then you can try her off the lead.  A badly trained dane is a dangerous beast, to itself and everyone else.

Take her to show training classes where she will learn to behave properly and you will learn how to train her
