Peeing, and bad when not home

Question
QUESTION: I have a male merle great dane, who will be 6 months in a few weeks.
Just today he was laying on my bed with me and my other great dane, and just started to pee! Did not even acknowledge it either. I just thought he was possibly dreaming and peed on accident. Well a few hours later he was on his little couch and he was awake and did it agian!
Also,  he will go to the door and ring bells about 99 percent of the time. But there have been times where ive been doing work on the computer and he hasnt rang the bells, or even acted like he wanted to go outside, and he would come right up next to me and pee on the ground! He did it three times in one day before! Would that be because he is "mad" at me ?

Also, when we leave to go somewhere for a couple hours, or even 30 minutes he gets into EVERYTHING you could imagine. He tore up a roll of quarters yesterday! (did not swallow any) We have another dane who is 14 months old and does not get into anything at all. It is just the younger one , whose name is Elvis btw.
At night he will get into stuff too. Sometimes even poop in the house. That is mainly when our door is shut. But when the door is open 80 percent of the time he will come in to wake us up.

They are on Diamond large breed lamb and rice dog food. And get fed three times a day.  Water is available at all times. He has plenty of toys. Also they go outside and run around everyday.

ANSWER: First and foremost you need to IMMEDIATELY stop allowing your dogs in bed with you. By peeing on your bed, he has deemed himself alpha of the pack and of YOU. He will continue to do this and it will only get worse. Giant breed dogs are not meant for furniture and beds, it gives them a false sense of power within the home. He is marking his territory by peeing on it. You have a 6 month old puppy that you do not crate when you are gone, and this is very concerning.

He is a puppy, and needs to be treated as such. Get a crate and crate him when you are gone, crate him when you sleep at night and this will also prevent accidents. Why do you sleep with your door open one night, and closed another? This is also causing confusion.

I am not sure that you are aware, but 1 on 4 Great Danes are opt to bloat at sometime in their life, by allowing water to be down at all times of the day, you increase the risk of bloat. This is a life threatening condition and the dog will die unless a surgery is preformed.

I would also get him and your other Dane neutered as soon as possible if it is not already done, otherwise fights are bound to ensue and the marking in your home will continue. Hope that helps.

QUESTION: He is peeing, without realizing it, he just lays in it. Has been acting not like normal at all.  Not energetic, he will still eat and drink, but not much else.       Wouldn't giving them water at certain time cause them to want to drink more at that time?  And in effect to drinking more at one time, bloat?  Older one is fixed, younger one will be fixed in april.

Answer
If he is peeing in it and laying it it without knowing that he even peed, he may be suffering from a UTI. It would help if you are able to collect a sample and take it to your veterinarian.

If he has a UTI that would explain the behavior of not wanting to do more then just lay around as they can be very painful. Are you sure that he has not swallowed anything that could be causing an obstruction?

Bloat is not caused by drinking water, bloat is caused by the gases mixing in the stomach with the water and causing air being pushed into the intestine causing the stomach to twist resulting from exercise and dogs playing with each other after they have drank water or eaten previous to play or exercise.
