Lead training

Hi there, I have recently bought my first great dane - ernie. He is now 4 months old, and a big black goofy guy. Usually when i have him on the lead he is well behaved and doesnt pull, but since i have started taking him on short 15min walks to a nearby park he has started to pull. Just wondering if you have an tips on lead training?? I want to get started now as i definately dont want him pulling when hes any bigger as he has a decent pull on him already. I am planning on taking him to obedience when he is 6months, but what can i do in the mean time?

Get him a halti. I love them. When I first saw one I have to tell you I was pretty unimpressed. But after using one on a completely unruly, completely untrained 160 male Great Dane, I was SUPER impressed. Make sure it fits  him properly , that you have it on properly and give him time to get used to it. It does take a little getting used to. But you will amazed at how quickly he stops pulling.
