Question
I rescued a pit last aug. and she was in bad shape she was on antibiotics for 2 months. Since then she is non stop scratching and bleeding from it.  She chews her feet and scratches her entire body and face to the point of bleeding. I have her on a raw diet and probiotics I saw a change for a few weeks and now it's horrible agian.  She was on probiotics for over 6 months. She has also been on every vet. med they have for allegies.  She also gets ear infections all the time and they are from yeast. Nothing is helping her I am actually thinking about putting her down because I can't stant to watch her suffer anymore. She had a horrible life prior to living with me shewas a bait dog and used as a breeding machine.  Please help patch she deserves nothing but the best after all she has been through. When she came here she was 12 lbs at 2 years old near death with pneumonia and kennel cough. Happy to say she is now 62lbs and other than the scratching the best dog in the world she helps with other rescues and helps teach children about pit bulls. Please help Patch.

Oh Susan and Patch - I would love to help you two!  Glad you have seen the vet - Now let's try some supplements and the NuVET Immune system booster.
Keep her on raw or what you are feeding ( make sure you are feeding a grain free food)  You may want to try the SoJo mixes - you just add in the Raw OR Lightly Cooked meats... I would stay with all white meats if possible.  The GREEN bag is SoJo's grain free mix -
SoJo is here: they offer free shippping to your door in the USA.

1.  First supplement - Salmon oil - Please find PURE salmon oil at the local pet store or order on-line from Yummy Chummies in Alaska.
Give 1 tablespoon per day - Good for skin, hips and joints.

2.. Please pop her onto some Vitamin E (1) of a 200 IU per day - for 1 month and then just (1) every-other-day long term.  This is the Vitamin E for humans, as pets can take this too.

3...  A MUST - PLEASE place your little Patch onto 3 NuVET wafers per day ..... for " 2 " weeks and then DROP down to just 2 per day - long term.
NuVET will help this gal RE-BUILD her immune system and it helps to fight off the ENVIRONMENTAL allergens that are setting off the ear infections and itchies.
Go the the web site and see the TESTIMONIALS ...

Mugleston's PITBULL farm has all the PUPS on NuVET and the Whelping moms, too.  The are the number 1 Pitbull breeder in the USA and they are a Quality breeder.
Call 1-800-474-7044 And tell them DISCOUNT code 81098 - ASK about the 15 % on auto ship...  Tell them PET Nurse Marie sent you.
A 90 count bottle is 55.00 ( and you can get the discount.)
They also sell smaller bottles and larger bottles of the NuVET wafers.

4.  I would continue on a good Probiotic -...
Flora Force is great by Nature's Sunshine - I would have her on 2 per day for 1 month and then cut down to 1 per day - very long term.
My clients have great luck with the Flora Force ...
Flora Force:-  This works Wonders!!!

Good for the Humans in the family, too!  ( get rid of yeast / great for allergies )

I know Patch is NOT a cat but it is Endorsed by this:
** Cats Magazine mentions using this for strong odor for male show cats.
Great for dogs and cats:  get rid of yeast, stains, and odors.

OK, I KNOW I GAVE YOU A BUNCH TO DO - TO GIVE THIS KID ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE.  I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU.  IF YOU USE MY ADVICE I BET YOU WILL SEE RESULTS IN 2-3 WEEK.

Also, NuVET makes a great tea tree oil / hot spot spray - about 7.00
ASK them to send you a bottle of this - use on the area that she is bitting at.  It is a healer, too.
For about 10.00 they make a TEA tree oil Shampoo for itchy kids/ YOU may want them to place one of the Shampoos in with the Vitamin supplements and the Spray.
I would give you baby a bath 1 x per week in the Tea tree oil shampoo - for just 3 weeks, Then...I would go to every-other-week baths in the Tea Tree shampoo.
All the NuVET Products are 100% money back guaranteed.
