Silver Shield and our dog

Question
Our American Staffordshire Terrier has many skin problems including itching, redness, tenderness, etc., and it's been recommended to give her Silver Shield and/or Omega 3 and Omega 6.  Can you please tell my if these are good options, and how much or how often to give these to her?  She is a spayed female, approximately 3 years old, weighing around 65 pounds.  She was rescued this summer from a puppy mill (the shelter found her covered with mange, hairless and having just delivered another litter!).

Thank you!

A Probiotic is a must - Flora Force - give 2 per day ----After a month  go down to just 1 per day:  ( you can open capsule and just mix  into food.
