Question
I have a male Red nose Pit Bull. His genitalia and glands are swolen. I have reason to beleive that its because of a vitamin d deficiency. How do i go about corecting this problem. is this a problem only a vet can solve?

Answer
First of all, I would recommend that you ascertain for sure that it is indeed a vitamin D deficiency. It could actually take a vet. Once you are sure of the diagnostics, you could logically correct it by using supplemental vitamin D. I would also ascertain what caused the deficiency in the first place and correct the actual cause.  Supplementation may only be a temporary fix.
