Question
QUESTION: Hi!

My senior cat has a kidney infection that is not responding well to antibiotics.  Are there any natural antibiotics I can give him that may help his body fight the infection?  Or perhaps something to boost his immune system?  Thank you!

ANSWER: I would give hi, high doses of cranberry extract tablets from a health store upwards of 1000mg daily. We had a very similar issue and this worked well for our oap cat.You could also try aloe vera juice daily and colloid of silver as these three combinations will provide a natural antibiotic state for the cat whilst also repairing the immune system and encouraging natural health once again.
NO MORE DRY FOOD, this encourages poor kidney function in 75% of all felines. These should not ever have dry foods and it is fundamentally wrong for vets to suggest this. Feed the cat foods high in protein like sardines and high in oils to help shed coats this reducing hair balls. Foods high in omegas will also keep the cats mind active , the coat healthy, the teeth will have less plaque and the bones and joints supple. Real meat like chicken wings smashed up and warmed through are a brilliant food for cats.

QUESTION: Hi Kaza,

Thank you so much for your quick and helpful response.  Everything you said makes sense, and I'm getting going on it as soon as the stores are open here.  I'm so happy to have actions I can take.  Thank you!  I just have two more questions if you don't mind.

How much aloe vera juice is appropriate for a sick cat?  And is D-Mannose an acceptable substitution for cranberry extract?  D-Mannose is the active ingredient in cranberries, but it doesn't have the acidity, so I'm wondering if the missing acidity is important.  I ask because I already have some D-Mannose on hand that I use when I get a bladder infection.  Thank you again!

Answer
Yes of course use what you have in , it makes sense.Aloe vera is great for immuneity and also kidney infections give puss. 1/2 ml to 1 ml (cc) twice daily; this can be given orally or placed into food ...I can see this pussy cat improving a great deal.
