Answer
Hello Lee -

Not to worry, he has an upset stomach and should be feeling better by the end of the day if not tomorrow morning.

The yellow bile is stomach acid and its the dogs way of getting things out of their system. As long as there is no blood or heavy mucous present, he will be fine.

He is eating grass because the constituent in grss settles dogs and cats stomachs. This is very normal and very good for your pet. Let him eat all the grass he wants. After he eats a bite he may vomit again, this is fine, don't stop him. Grass is a pets natural way of helping to settle their stomach much like our antacids.

I feed my dog table food and regular dog food. Some people say its not very healthy for dogs but as long as you are not giving him greasy food all the time he should be fine. Don't push food on him right now, leave dry food available so if he wants to snack he can. When he is ready he will eat it up.

Have a full bowl of water out for him all day. He may be a little dehydrated and will want to drink alot.

You may want to add Garlic powder to his food. Garlic is an anti-microbial and will help fight and kill bacteria and infection present in the system. Don't be afraid to sprinkle it with a heavy hand, dogs love Garlic and he should eat it up right away. The only draw back to adding Garlic to his food is flatulence. It may be a little stinky but the Garlic is doing its job by pushing the bacteria through his system. This is safe and effective treatment for any digestive concern and can be used long term.

Greenies are a very good snack for dogs, these should not be bothering him. I would watch the amount of other snacks you give him in a day especilly the bacon and smoked flavored snacks. They tend to be a little heavy for their system if over fed.

He more then likely ate something that did not agree with him. It could be something as simple as a little piece of wood or heavy lint. Keep an eye on him especially if he is a chewer.
