Question
My cat became very dehydrated after a trip and I took him into the vet where he was given subcutaneous fluids and now he is home.  I was wondering if I could give him pedialyte to help keep him hydrated until he pulls out of this or if it would harm him?

Answer
Hello Nicole,

Yes, you can give your cat Pedialyte to keep him hydrated. It will not harm him, in fact, Pedialyte is given to many kittens after weening to help keep fluids in them.

Best wishes to you and your pet.
