sinus allergies

I have a 14 year old lab/chow mix that lately while he sleeps  has nasal breathing problems; sounds all stuffy and will puff and snort continually,then in the mornings he has blood all over the floor.  other than that he is acting completely normal.    Is there a way to control the allergies? I am not sure if it is bothering him as much as I think it is.

I would look to homeopathy for your dog's relief, but the blood concerns me. Do the breathing problems only happen at night or any time he is sleeping? It would seem unlikely that if it is an allergy that it would only happen at night.  If there is a holistic vet that is good with homeopathy or even Chinese Herbs in your area, I would contact them.
