Is my Bulldog stressed?

I have a 20 month old bulldog that recently lost her 7yo Shepherd playmate (passed away suddenly) She is losing hair in patches here and there (not extreme) she has been sleeping a lot and vomiting  as well. She still eats, drinks, and plays a little but spends most of her time sleeping in the Shepherds bed. I took her to my vet yesterday and he did a skin scrape and said all was well. When I asked him if he thought she might be depressed or stressed from the loss he stated dogs don't lose hair from anxiety and stress. I disagree!! Am considering getting a second opinion because I am not the least bit happy with his response to me. Is it possible that she has become depressed and is stressed and that is why these things are happening. We also have always put lemon juice in her water to help thin the secretions because she used to regurgitate all of the time. That is not the same as this. Please help me help my sweet little bully.

Hi Lisa, Sure your Bullie may be depressed at the loss of her companion.  I can give you a few recipes that are bland for the next week.  After that, you can start her back onto dog food again.
Also, I have some supplements that should help.
If she continues to have problems have the  Vet check her Thyroid blood level.

1.  Let's get your gal onto a bland diet for the next week:
