Question
"I have an 8 week  female Australian Cattledog who is doing a round of Clavamox (drops) antibiotic for vaginitis/ excessive licking prescribed by her vet.I really didn't want to give this to her, but she did have Giardia also, and gave her 3 days worth of Panacur.Fecal came back clean.
I am giving her Greek yogurt with her meals, as this is what i do if  i take antibiotics.
Is there anything else I can do to help her with her immune system? Antibiotics usually wipe all the natural flora in the system.
She has had no reactions to the medication.
She is eating Fromm puppy chow" 1/3 cup ... 4x /day
Also, next Wed. she is to receive her 5 in 1 puppy booster, should I wait?
thank you in advance

Hi Donna,  BEST wishes on the new puppy!  Good thing your are using a probiotic for your puppy.  That new GREEK yogurt is very powerful.  Good Job!

I would add a NuVET Wafer supplement to your program - daily.
Give her 1 NuVET wafer per day - It's a Immune System Booster... She needs that after having the bout of Giardia.  Have her stool tested again in 2 weeks as Giardia can appear very quick again.

NuVET is Natural - Holistic - Very Safe :  Give the girls a call:  NOT sold in stores

Give Discount code 81098 and ask for the discount Program.

Next, give this baby some ESTER C  Just (1) of a 250 mg per day for 1 month.
ESTER C is easy to digest --- YOU can get this at CVS or Walgreen's .
LOW cost and will help with healing and boosting her immune system.

I would wait an x-tra week before her next booster shot.
Also, HOLD off on the Rabies vaccine until she is 5 or 6 months of age.
( THEY will try to do it at 4 months....Don't)

The Fromm is a good food***** Good choice .....

HOPE this helps

Blessings
