Question
I have a female cat who is in heat. When I got her she was a very sick stray kitten. I managed to save her. I had her for 3 months before I took her for her shots. After I brought her back from vet ( Rabies Shot & Distemper Shot.) She became so sick I almost lost her again. The vet said it was an allergy to the shots. She now is on flaked light tuna . She now is in heat.....What can I do????

Answer
Hi Frances,
I am not sure exactly what you need help with but immediately after a response to vaccines administer homeopathic remedy thuja 30c.You can still give to her now.
No more vaccines for her anymore ever again if she responded poorly.
If she isn't eating, give chicken baby food in a syringe (NO ONIONS in ingredients-they are deadly to cats). Make sure there is only water and chicken in ingredients, a small amount of corn starch is ok.
Assist feed her with syringe if she is not eating.
If she is in heat again, she can't be too sick, but definitely have her spayed when she is healthy, talk to your vet's office. In the meantime, don't let her outdoors until after the surgery.
Also, there is a quick easy thing that can get her out of heat if the howling is bothering you, ask your vet until the surgery.
Good luck and if she is not sick take her to the vet for spay surgery!
