Question
Hi Susan,
Mickey was on DPG pills awhile ago back when his urination problems first started. Before I contacted you. I researched them online and read good reviews so I tried them. My vet is the one who told me they caused his urination problems and we should stop taking them. So I stopped them for a week I knew it wasn't the pills but to appease our vet I quit to prove him wrong. Mickey went back on them after the week. Believe me my dog is my life and I go by my gut with him and the pills helped so he kept taking them. We just went back to the vet for micks xrays and no tumors but my vet thinks he's not fully expressing his bladder cause of the loss of mobility in his hind end so I'm taking him to someone else for a 2nd opinion. My vet told me there was nothing I can do to make him well help him express his bladder. And I'm determined to find a solution to help him. I will definatly check around for local acupuncturists and see if they will do dogs. Mick has arthritis all up his spine too. I'm just nervous in case who I find says they will for the $ and isn't qualified but will do my research first. My dog is very well taken care of and its my lifes mission to make him comfortable and keep him happy in his golden years. Please don't misunderstand my previous email about the dgp pills. It wasn't my idea to take him off them. They helped him so much and I told my vet that but they don't want to hear it because like you said with the ploy to get my $ and he did 800.00 worth to tell me I cant do anything for my dog. Yes I am a little bitter with my vet right now! I know there's got to be something I can do and I will find it!  Thank you for your response.

Hi Jessica :0)

It was great to hear from you again.  I am so glad that you are listening to your inner voice for answers...it's the one that will guide you in the right direction so always trust it.

Newton Homeopathy has some excellent arthritis formulas. I would contact them by phone and ask to speak to someone who works with their animal products. They are generally very helpful and sweet people. I have also had some excellent results with bone spurs on the spine with a product from Water Oz called Water Of Life. It is a fabulous trace mineral supplement that is 99.999% bio-available. They are alsovery helpful people if you contact them.

I can understand your frustration with the vet very very well. I began helping pets the natural way over 20 years ago...way before it was even in the consciousness of the planet.  Being one of the people who actually helped drag the consciousness up kicking and screaming, all I used to hear from people was, "but the vet said..." ; now people are coming to me actually wanting to know what I know, not just wanting to argue with it, and some of the local vets have seen the wonders of what has happened to my clients' pets that they actually have been known to tell clients, "do whatever she says" when they find out they are comming to talk to me. It's been a rough 20+ years because I have never charged for my time, but I have helped save a lot of wonderful animals.

Call me some time. 727-327-2356
