constipation - cat

Question
My male cat had an accident & fell "4 stories" & hit concrete !
luckily, no internal damages, but his left hip that he hit -is pushed up & his opening in his "pelvis" is not symentrical any more, the opening is lop-sided & "smaller" ! So I have to give him a lazative to make his bowels unusually soft so it will squeeze through the narrower opening between his legs !
I purchased "Lax-eze" on line, but would like to give him a more natural supplement in his food - the  lax-eze looks like "charcol dirt & is  1.-beet pulp, kelp, psyllium seed, flax seed, oven dried chicken liver, papaya leaf, apple fiber, bentonite clay & diatomaceous earth !
It is a powder & is expensive & the bottom line is I have to rool "pellets" approx. 30 - 40 a dat & give them to him, all this takes an hr. a day !
I understand - I can give him "olive oil" in his food, also the psyllium seed, but how much seed ? was told it could be dangerous if too much - need to add natural stuff in his "fancy feast" & I need to get off this tread-mill with the pellets !! { I have to place the pellets in the back of his throat 2x a day - not a pleasant experience for him or me !!
Thank you for yr. time - greatly
                          appreciated - dee

Answer
Wow Dee!!! This cat boy is lucky to have you has his loving mom!!!
Yes, I have a better idea for you guys.

1.  give him some canned pure pumpkin daily - two tablespoons in the am and 1 in the pm ( pure no sugar added canned pumpkin)
That will do the trick  - most cats like the taste...and if he won't eat it that's ok and you did not blow too much money on Pumpkin.

2.  Please give him some NuVET Feline Formula - it is a powder and all you need is 1/2 a teaspoon in some YUM YUM tuna or fancy feast food.  NuVET is sold by holistic vet and here :

http://www.nuvet.com/81098

* you are looking for the Feline powder try the 30 count for only 20.00  ( that will last you two months because you only need 1/2 the daily dosage.)
If he won't eat it / call and ask for your money back - they have a 60 day Guarantee and Taste Guarantee too!
1-800-474-7044   ( tell them YOU are working with Pet Nurse Marie Peppers ) ( order code 81098 - ask about the 15% off discount program)

3.  I would love to see you feeding some lightly cooked meats in a SoJo cat food mix - here is the SoJo and you are your Cat's chef...
Balanced and all you do is add some fresh meats.
SEE  here:

This is a holistic and natural food for your cat.
EASY to have bowel movements because there is very little fillers and all is digested well.

Ok, so PUMPKIN, NuVET Feline , and SoJo Cat food

Let me know if any of my suggestions help???
