Hi Sue,

My 10 month old cairn terrier will get her Rabies shot in June.  
Can/Should I skip DA2PP vaccine shot?
what vaccine shot would you recommand her to get?

The dog's immune system matures at 6 months of age.  If she had her initial puppy vaccines, she's actually good to go for the rest of her life. Don't let vets talk you into annual vaccines of any type. They are dangerous, unnecessary and not even recommended by all 28 vet colleges. I think they have finally realized that people are finding out exactly what they have actually known all along and decided that it is becoming more politically expedient to change their evil ways. Unfortunately, vets make money on both the vaccines and the horrible long term side effects that they cause (the list of these is outrageously long). There is a lot of research out there now which I am currently studying. I am in the process of writing a book entitled "Simple Steps To A Healthy Pet" which will have an entire section on the subject.  I hope to have it available by the end of the summer.
