Lasix/ for CHF / Omega 3 and NuVET plus

Question
Hi my dog is a 12 1/2 year old lab..he has recently been diagnoses with congestive heart failure and is now taking several medications for his cough and overall well being..i also give him coQ10 100 mg once daily..can you recommend any homeopathic treatment to give him along with the meds hes on or better yet to hopefully rule out the other meds altogether..i use homeopathy on my whole family and prefer that form of treatment..thanks for any info you have to offer

Hi Melissa, your lab boy needs the Lasix or water pill from the vet. Dogs with CHF need fluid pills every day - No real alternative med for the water pill.  ( not in a serious case like yours)

I would give this boy to start on a good Vitamin / Immune system supplement and also some Omega 3 or Salmon oil / Must be pure salmon oil...
