dog black upper lip turns pink/discolored

my dog's black upper lip turned red/pink after returning from playing with my mom at backyard yesterday.
She played soccer, chewed some sticks and ate some grass.
no swelling
Fortunately, she still eat and sleep well.

do you have any idea of what causes

It was possibly an allergic reaction to something in or on the grass. Perhaps the yard had recently been sprayed with a pesticide. The big question is, has it stayed red or did it return to the regular color? If it stays inflamed, try giving her some licorice root extract (apx. dilution, 2 parts LRE to 6 parts distilled water.) Also consider giving distilled water to drink for about 2 weeks to 1 month. LRE is a natural steroid that is very effective in reducing inflammation, and distilled water will help leach out toxins.
