Question
My 15 year old shih tzu has many dry patches on her back, around tail and its spreading.I have been to my vet 3 times he can't figure out what it is.I give her baths with special shampoo for dermatitis and capsules for her dry skin.I have fed her iams dog food for years.I even sent for neems oil to try,but just is getting worse. It looks like psariasis all over back and expanding to her front. I am at a loss as to what it is.She has always had fine hair on her back and has never had a thick coat but its really thin now. What can I do.I am at a loss.

Answer
How about making some home-made dog food for this poor little shih tzu?
Also, a few supplements should help-
( buy some grain free dog food and add a little home cooked meat)

How about a grain free food????
Mix your food and the new food for 3 weeks and then go 100% grain free feeding:

I would like you to look for Wellness Core ( OCEAN)-  If you can't find it go with Merrick "Before Grain"- Ocean / seafood flavor only.

Grain free ( ocean ) may be very helpful for your gal.

( YOU can cook up some ground lamb and add this to your dry dog food each day ) Just 1/4 to 1/2 cup 1x per day of the cooked lamb....

**  NuVET wafers - this is an Immune system healer and Allergy Blaster - Great for skin and coat healing, too....give her 1  day long term ....( 1 wafer is about .60 cents per day)
Please call in the order for fast shipping:

Tell them you are working with Marie Peppers from the All Experts site... ask the Pet Nurse.
Give referral code 81098 / you need a pet pro or vet to refer you to the NuVET program.....

NOT sold in stores...

VERY safe and can be used with "anything" the vet has ordered for your dog.

Add some Olive oil ( 1/4 teaspoon) to her dog food daily - mix well
Must be PURE olive oil.
