Heartgard alternative

My Scottish Terrier has TCC Bladder Cancer and is in remission at this time. I want to stop giving her Heartgard and would like to find an alternative preventative.  Would nosodes be safe for her and how do I get her started on nosodes and where can I get it? Are there any other options.
