Bedtime Snack for shih tzu;

I have a 1 yr old male Shih Tzu. Sometime he throws up yellow bile, I've read that it could be he needs a bedtime snack. My question is what are somethings i can give him? Are treats and snacks the same thing?

Hi Corrita,  Yes, his little shih tzu belly is empty and needs at little food.
Make sure you are feeding 2 good meals per day.  
At night you can give some cottage cheese - small curd 2% milk or some van yogurt - about 2 tablespoons.
Another snack option is some "Wet" canned dog food - 2 tablespoons - Innova ; Wellness; Merrick or Solid Gold are all great brands to try.

If that doesn't help - we can talk about some other options such as tagament.
Don't go that route yet....

Also, make sure you baby is getting some NuVET Plus each day - 1/2 a wafer per day is all that most little dogs need ( 1/2 to 1 full Treat wafer per day of NuVET)
