Supplements for Bichons

Question
We have two Bichon Frise (11yrs and 13 yrs.)  They are diabetic..one has had bladder stones.  they are on prescription Science Diet W/D.  They are constantly itching and biting themselves until their skin is raw.  I recently read that Omega 6 and Omega 3 would help their itching...Do you agree and where or what would be a good source of the omegas?  I also give them each a benedryl with their food...not too sure if this is helping. Thanks

Marie can help / Dogs Oh, Poor little bichons!  The W/D is full of corns and other junk fillers... It is just a fair food.  How about we mix the W/D with some Natural Balance dog food - here is a link to one that may work:

I would like to see you mix the w/d and Natural Balance for 1 month -

***do a 50/50 mix of the two foods.
