diatomaceous earth for pets ; stop fleas with D.E. powder

Question
I have a 2 year old white German shepherd. every year when the fleas are out. he gets bad hot spots and dry skin. I use frontline and it gets rid of the fleas. but he still gets bad hot spots and he loses his hair. I take him to the vet and they put him on steroids and anti biotic. they work but i don't want to keep him on them as i don't think it is healthy. help i hate to see him like this

Hi Jim,  White dogs are more prone to skin allergies than any others. I would love to offer you a few suggestions.  Yes, the Frontline will kill the fleas after they bite your boy.
You can also use this powder to deter the fleas away...( use Frontline along with the powder)
