Shar Pei skin itching

My mother has a 7 year old male Shar Pei. He has developed a problem this past year with scratching till he bleeds. We have brought him to the vet several times and have had him on medicines and shots. Nothing seems to help. I'm not sure what the vet has given him. I just came across your site and wondered what you would suggest.

Hi Mary - Yes, I can help your Shar Pei kid!  I am sure the vet tried steroids and antibiotics.  We can try some good food and supplements!

What is your mom feeding this boy?  Give me the brand and flavor of food she is currently feeding.
Also, has he been on any vitamins or supplements in the past?
