Cranberry supplements for 14-15 lb. Bichon

I ready your answer concerning giving cranberry supplements to a very large dogs and the amounts to give the dog, but I have a 7-year old Bichon that had a nasty urinary infection which I thought had been resolved with her antibiotic.  I know believe we didn't cure her!  She has been urinating in the house quite a bit even though she's taken out every four hours - had been blaming my Yorkie for the messes, but now realize it was my Bichon!  What quantity of cranberry supplements would I give my Bichon at her weight, and how often.  I'd like to use "human" supplements as they are so much cheaper than animal ones.  Would that be okay.  Thank you for your advice!
