Infections ear, eye and including Pasteurella

Cody   QUESTION: My puppy is an 11 months old yellow/white Labrador Retriever. He has has eye and ear infections from the beginning. I had to switched his dog food from nutro maxx the breeder gave me  to solid gold. He was very allergic to the food. He definitely  started out with a weak immune system and I believe the vaccines the vet gave him weakened it more with really bad reactions. He wound up in the hospital on Thanksgiving day.

He has had Pasteurella in his penis since April 2010.  The vet has been giving him Cephalexin 500mg Cephalexin 250mg together and Clavamox 375mg twice. Nothing is working. (more than 3 months on meds)

I now got him on apple cider vinager and plain yogurt to get back his he "good" bacteria in the gut. I am giving him Natural Pet Immune Strengthener 4 pills a day. This is helping a bit.  

I need to get his immune system strong to fight these infections, they are wearing him down and me too. Help!  I am going to see the nutionists at Solid Gold Corporate office in San Diego tomorrow with him. I see NuVet Plus looks good and so does seameal by solid gold. What do you think? I believe we need a natural antibiotic type also?  Or something ... please HELP us! This guy is suffering...

ANSWER: Hi - POOR Cody -  I think that cooking home-made food may be best for this little guy.
Solid Gold is a great product but I would make my food.
