QUESTION: I have a 9 yr. old bichon (f) who just had surgery to remove struvite stones.  all is well and she is on a sd diet food. I want to make her food and I see your recipes. My question is: How many servings does a recipe make; what is a serving size?  Please help.  Thanks a bunch.

GREAT for pets that have had struvite crystals or stones.

Beef and Rice Diet  for Kidney health
( Helps to reduce "UTI" and Stones/ reduces crystal formulation)


1/4 pound very lean beef (raw weight), ~~cook Please
( YOU can alternate with ground cooked lamb)
You can add a little x-tra beef in a meal, if you feel she needs it.

JUSt choose 1 meat -not two at the same time.

1 egg, large, hard-boiled
1 1/2 cups brown rice, long-grain, cooked
2 bonemeal tablets (10-grain or equivalent)

1/4 teaspoon salt substitute (potassium chloride)
1  vitamin/ supplement ( NuVET Waffer ) see below:
