NuVet Plus vs Temaril-P for bulldogs;

Question
I just started my senior bulldog, Nina, on NuVet last week.  I stopped giving her the Temaril she was on for a couple of months, about 3 weeks ago and her skin has some hot spots and pink areas.  How long does it take before the NuVet will start working for her skin and coat?  Should I also be giving her a probiotic and if so, what kind do you recommend?

I feed her Nature's Balance - Grain Free - Sweet Potato and Fish.

Hi Tracy and Nina;  So glad you are using the NuVET Plus and a good Quality food.
The Temaril-P steroid drug should be only stopped with your Vet's help.  Most of the time you would taper Nina off this drug slowly reducing the dosage over a 2 week period.
NuVet does take a few weeks to get a good blood level as it is Natural; Most folks will see results with NuVet by the first month.
