English bulldog skin problems

Hi, I have a wonderful 3 year old all white female English bulldog and she has been getting infected skin rashes, ear infections, she sneezes and has started licking her feet all the time. The vet thinks it is an allergy to fleas but I'm not thrilled about her food either Nutros for skin. For my other dogs before her I used Solid Gold which I can't get here now. She now has a slight odor about her. I just feel so bad because she is always so itchy I want to do something that will stop the infections and itch. Any help you can offer will be great, thank you.
