Dog ate bananna peel

Our schnauzer just ate a bananna peel from the trash.  Will this make her sick?

Hello Doug -

This should not hurt your pet. If anything she may have a few loose bowel movements or may vomit. This is nothing to be alarmed about it's a foreign substance her body is not use to.

Bananas have high levels of potassium and should not interfere with her current health.
