wort like bumps

This a cocker spanial (male) with wort like bumps and they have dark scabes in the center. they are all over the body.

Hello Kim -

Take your pet to the veterinarian immediately. The warts you are describing sound like they may be a type of skin cancer called Hemangiosarcoma. Your vet will be able to take a biopsy and run the proper tests to be sure.

This type of cancer can come from long extended periods of exposure to sunlight. It begins with an invasive tumor and spreads rapidly through the body. With you saying these "warts" are all over the body it has me concerned.

Surgical removal is the only way to completely rid the body of these nodules. Your vet may begin anti-biotics or heavy dosaged medications to see how your pet will react.

Without more detailed information about the warts or your pet I cannot help you further. My suggestion is based on the information you provided in your question.
