New dog with diarrhea....

Hi!Thank you for your service. I have been looking for a natural alternative for awhile. I have a 3 year old male black/tan doxie, a 2 year old male papillion and just got a 4 year old female dapple  doxie. A woman i didnt know posted for an unspayed female cause she was divorcing. I always wanted afemale for my male doxie cause i would love alitter. Also i fell in love with this dapple doxie the minute i met her! I paid her 200$ for her. She didnt come with any papers and the lady said she was up to date on her shots. The doxie had her first litter of 4 in april this year. First is it normal for a females dogs bellybutton to pop out after birthing? This dogs bellybuttonm is pertruding. When i took her into my van i first took her for awalk and she tried to eat "poo". Than in the van she shook really bad and continued and still does after 2 weeks. Her stools have been liquid wth some soft ones in between. I thought it would stop after she adjusted but it hasnt.[the shaking and diarrehea] I feed all my dogs- kibbles[yuukky i know!]- and thats the food she was on before.She emmotionally is sweet and fits in well. oh and the woman said she didnt have fleas-but guess what she did! and now so do my other dogs...sorry this is so long but i cant afford a vet and want her to feel better.The woman i bought her from hasnt even called to see how she is. I am afraid i got asick dog and dont know what to do. Thanks for your help-be blessed abundantly,Glo

Hi Glo - Yes, I have some ideas for you and your new gal.  First - give her some pure canned pumpkin ( NO added sugar) - give her 1 teaspoon every 8 hrs for 3 days -  then just 1 teaspoon per day - for another week.  Good for her and will firm up the poops.
I bet she is just having Major anxiety!!!!
Give her a chance to calm down and become part of the pack.

As far as her belly - I bet she has a hernia and may need suger if the area gets worse.  JUST make sure it doesn't start to grow any larger.  It may not....JUST be aware... ( a common surgery, too)

Make some chicken and rice ( white rice) for her for a few days -
Cook up some chicken and place it in FREEZER bags - FREEZE and take out what you need and microwave for 20-30 seconds...SMALL portions.

Fleas - Give her and everyone in a Bath of DAWN dishwater soap.  Suds them up and leave on for 3 minutes - drown the fleas and then rinse off.  It works and won't hurt them at all.  JUST avoid the eye area....


GET a holistic flea spray at the local pet store - Something with TEA tree oil /  Natural Flea sprays are excellent....Apply 2 x per day.
