eggs

hello
my parrot fish just laid eggs and i only have one in my tank what should i do? is there anything i can do? the eggs were just laid this morning and are little clear balls..

Hi Catheryn:  If there is another cichlid in the tank with your angel fish that might fertilize them then they may hatch.  Otherwise I would do nothing and the Parrot fish will take care of them.  If there is not a male around then there is no hope that they will hatch.  I would do nothing and let nature take its course.  Cichlids are excellent parents... so if you end up with babies... you will just need to feed them.  The eggs will hatch in 3-4 days and they will be "wigglers"... I feed mine mirco worms but you can feed them crushed up flake food or a paste made from water and a boiled egg yolk.  keep me posted.. dave
