Question

my betta tank hi jaymie, i have a betta tank with 30x15x15cm / 1,5 litres, will it be ok for my betta? and i'm not using filter. if my betta could speaks, what will it says to me? thanks in advanced.

If he could speak he would say that his tank is not big enough and he wants a heater. Betta's are tropical fish and need their heaters set at 80 degrees at all times, even in the summer. He should be in a tank no less that 2.5 gallons where a 5 gallon is best. It's fine that you do not have a filter. Male Betta's are very slow swimmers and the current of the filter would cause stress. All 13 of my adult Betta's are in their own 5 gallon tanks. Don't forget the weekly water changes of 25%. With him being in such a small home, he will need his 25% water changes to be twice a week minimum. Good luck with your Betta.
