Piranha tank mates

so i m buying a 30 gallon auarium and i was think about getting 1 maybe 2 red belly piranhas that are 2 1/2 in' long. i was wondering if i can get other kinds of fish along with it that it wont hurt. maybe like african cichlids?

  Personally, i would only put the piranhas in the tank. They can and will eat anything you put in the tank. I have heard, however, that large African Cichlids or even Oscars can be put in the tank, but, every fish is different. What works for one might not work for another.
