sick bug eyed fish

i have 3 bu eyed fish and 1 of them i call Bubbles she is realy sick she has tis gray velvit looking stuff on her body and the same kind of thing on her fins and it has eaten her fins almost completly off im realy worried so i put her in a seperit tank but she is no better i need 2 no something soon so she dont die and my other fish get sick 2 please if u no wha ti can do im all ears

Hi Cory:  your fish has a fungal disease and you can treat her with triple sulfate or general cure which are both medications you can get for her at the pet store.  In the meantime if you have any aquarium salt I would add that to her water if not just change her water everyday until you get the medication.  It is important to feed your fish healthy well fed fish usually don't get sick... so make sure you are feeding them twice per day about what they will eat in three minutes of time.  Brine shrimp and tubiflex worms make good treats too.  keep me posted please... dave
