New Hobby

Hello.
i just received my first aquarium, an octagon shaped upright tank, about 15-20 inches in height and 6 wide.
i first placed three tiger barbs (all of whom died one after the other.)
After some reading, i am now thinking of keeping either one of the following:
6 zebra danios (because i read they're quite sturdy)
or
1 betta fish (simply because they're splendid to look at)
which of the two would you recommend?
i live in baguio city, where the temperature is usually between 16-25 degrees C. i also dont have a water filter,oxygen pump, and lights.
i would really appreciate your suggestions. thank you in advance.

Hello Allan!
I think you should have a Betta because 6 Danios need more space. The Tiger Barbs probably died because of these reasons: Lack of Air/Oxygen Pump, Heater, Lighting, and Filter. If you want Danios you would stick to 3-4 of them.
