Question
My many spotted catfish (cuckoo catfish, synodontis multipuctatus)has a bloated stomach and has been floating on the top of the tank. If he stops swimming he foats to the surface. It started with a white spot on its eyes now it has a bloated stomach. Can you help me? Do you know what it has. We have done a 3/4 water change. Before the change the water was slightly cloudy. Now is nice and clean. Other fish in tank appear ok. Thanks
Sandy

Answer
Hi Sandy,
Poor catfish. Sounds like Swim bladder disorder. It can be cured and is rarely fatal unless a bacterial infection is involved. For a better understanding plus treatment please visit here-

Best of luck, I hope all goes well!
