i have a 10  gallon tank and want to get some fish for it but shoort on money how much do u think the tank and every thing will cost

Being that you have the tank already...the tank shouldn't cost you anything.

A filter usually runs from 10-14 dollars. Heaters range from 17.99-34.99 it all depends on where you go. Different places have many different prices a lid and a hood light usually cost 34.99 again it all depends on where you go, craigslits and different places, local ads, thrift stores sometimes have good things for cheap.
